Before installation of the Derosion Lattice, hydraulic action would crash against the Beishan Cliff, causing continuous erosion and cliff collapse. Upon applying our technology, sand started accumulating on the beach within a few months, and waves would no longer reach the cliff, as the shoreline pushed out towards the sea. As a result, plants started growing along the bottom of the cliff, as shown in the After photo.
